Built on Experience, Driven by Protection

We started in 2019 after watching too many people lose access to their accounts through simple oversights. Our team has spent years working inside major banks, watching the security landscape shift. Now we teach what actually works in the real world of Australian banking.

Started Small in Lismore, Grew Everywhere

Back in early 2019, Harriet Venables noticed something troubling. Her neighbour had been locked out of their savings for three weeks because of a simple authentication issue. This wasn't uncommon. Banks were rolling out new security measures faster than customers could adapt.

She partnered with Erskine Ledbury, who'd been managing IT security for regional branches. Together they ran weekend workshops at The Parlour on Molesworth Street. Twenty people showed up to the first one. Word spread quickly because the advice was practical and jargon-free.

By late 2020, we'd shifted online. The pandemic pushed everything digital, and suddenly elderly customers who'd never used mobile banking were forced to learn overnight. Our training programs expanded to cover everything from password management to recognizing sophisticated phishing attempts targeting Australian bank customers specifically.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't corporate values we printed on a wall. They're the principles that shape every training session and every piece of advice we share.

Real Scenarios Only

We teach using actual cases from Australian banks. No hypothetical situations or outdated examples. If it hasn't happened in the last twelve months, we don't include it.

Plain Language

Banking security comes with enough complexity already. We explain things the way you'd tell a friend over coffee, not how a security manual reads at three in the morning.

Prevention Focus

Recovery is harder than prevention. We spend more time helping you avoid problems than fixing them afterward. Better to spot the warning signs early than deal with account compromise later.

The People Behind the Training

Our team combines banking experience with genuine curiosity about how security actually functions in daily life. No corporate backgrounds or sales pitches. Just people who've spent years helping Australians protect their financial access.

Looking Forward

Programs Launching September 2025

Our next intake starts September 2025. We're developing new modules specifically for business banking security and estate planning digital access. Current trends show that scams targeting business accounts jumped forty percent in 2024, so we're adapting fast.

Training runs six to nine months depending on your starting knowledge. We work with your schedule because most participants are managing jobs, families, and everything else that comes with daily life.

  • Weekly sessions covering current threats and protection methods
  • Practical exercises using demo banking environments
  • Access to updated materials as security protocols change
  • Optional advanced modules for business account management
